Nick Coleman
Doug Johnston
Nick Coleman is no stranger to the agriculture industry. Nick spent his childhood helping his dad and grandfather on the family farm, allowing him the opportunity to interact with other farmers in his Iowa community. During that time, he saw the pride and joy that accompanied farmers during the good years and the struggles they faced in tough years.
Nick found his passion working in the seed business. He finds his work rewarding because he is able to get to know and understand customers’ needs, allowing him to make recommendations that provide them with the best chance of having a successful year.
Nick and his wife, Jaime, have two children and are active members of Waters Edge Church in Ogden, where Nick serves in a leadership role. He has a strong interest in real estate and enjoys traveling and golfing in his free time. Above all, Nick values supporting his children in their pursuits and investing in his family and community.
Doug grew up in Boone, in a family rooted in agriculture. Growing up, he has fond memories of being on the farm and tagging along for agronomy visits with his dad.
His number one motivator is bringing value to the table. He enjoys seeking out opportunities to make that happen. Operationally, he spends most of his time out in the countryside evaluating field conditions. He wants to be the first person to initiate solutions to problems and celebrate successes.
Doug and his wife, Jenna, live in Boone and attend Cornerstone Church in Ames. If he’s not in your fields, he enjoys playing golf, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
